"Helping Refugees & Vulnerable Populations Navigate a Challenging System" is the first of our community workshops, to be hosted by Danielle Ross and CTC (we will have more workshops coming soon + if you'd like to donate your time and host a workshop for our community, to get practice, build bonds, and have something incredible on your CV/resumé, please be in touch!)

The focus of this workshop is to help participants learn more about the many ways that they can help vulnerable and refugee populations navigate the unique challenges that they may face as they try to find their place in a new country. Topics that will be covered are cultural sensitivity and awareness, addressing trauma, access to healthcare and social services, advocacy and policy, and community integration. Overall, the workshop aims to empower participants with the knowledge and tools to effectively support and advocate for volunteer populations and refugees.
